  • Looks like a nice knife! I thought 440C was considered a "low-end" steel though. Is it soft? I could be wrong but I would love it if it was carbon or tool steel!

  • 440C is a hard steel, been top notch stuff for decades, its only in recent years that other higher end steels have been made makign the 440C looks standard or "lower end" but between the good heat treat and cryo freeze on this bl,ades its very hard and holds a good edge, more info in the review...

  • The Jag is the smaller version of the survivor in my opinion, so it really comes down to mostly design and your preferences. Do you want the modified tanto or a drop point? I think the Javalina looks less intimidating, so you may want to go with that or the Jag depending on what your use it for it.
