Britney Spears will soon get more time with her sons. The pop star went to court with her lawyer yesterday requesting overnight visits with 2 year old Sean Preston and 1 year old Jayden James. The judge awarded her one monitored overnight visit. Her lawyer says the kids are at risk psychologically by being apart from their mother. Spears lost full custody to her ex Kevin Federline last week but in recent days, she's been reportedly following the judge's orders and passing required drug tests.
Actor Jude Law has been cleared of assault charges in London. The actor was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting a photographer outside his home. At the time of the incident her was taken to a police station and released after questioning. Law tells People magazine authorities looked at the man's allegations carefully and decided not to proceed with any charges.
Comedian Drew Carey is gearing up to tie the knot. He's reportedly engaged to culinary school graduate Nicole Jaracz. His publicist says there's no wedding date set yet but they're both excited about future plans. It's the first marriage for both of them. Carey will start his new gig as host of "The Price is Right" on Monday. He's also known for his role on "The Drew Carey Show."
Snoop Dogg has been ordered to do community service for recent weapon charges. He's been sentenced to 160 hours of yard work...cleaning up a park in southern California. Snoop Dogg was arrested last year for attempting to bring a 20 inch baton onto an airplane. He pleaded guilty to felony weapon charges last month.
Celebrities gathered in Washington DC last night to honor Billy Crystal. The comedian received the 10th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Previous recipients include Steve Martin and Whoopi Goldberg. Crystal is known for his roles in films like "Harry Met Sally" and "City Slickers." He was joined by his wife Janice at the event, as well as his comedian friends Martin Short, Jimmy Fallon and Danny DeVito.
