Here the basics of gait evaluation are discussed. Gait evaluation is a crucial aspect of treatment of injuries and pain syndromes. The patterns of limb length differences, poor shock absorption, excessive pronation, or excessive supination can easily be seen.

  • This video is absolutely useless. The model should wear as little clothes as possible to allow the examiner to see the movements of other parts. In this video not only that a model is wearing long pants and long sleeve shirt but she also walks with her on! That eliminating one of the most important components of gait analysis as looking at the first thing that comes in contact with the floor-the foot! This is just ridiculous.

  • This is barely useful. No mention is made of the gait cycle, No mention is made of step width, step length, heel position. and there is no way to document this "gait evaluation" for functional goals and measurement of progression. That spells DENIAL. You can watch your patient walk for free. If you go to the trouble to put something on here, do it right
