We were just starting to work out 'The Cowboy' so it is a little hit and miss but gets posted anyway.

December 29, 1998 Copyright - Mike - Michelle 1998,2008

Stormy Sunday morning cool and darkened earth
Baby born a screaming and his mamma died at birth
The doctor poured his dad a whiskey
Little Johnny learned to grow up fast
He never had no home
He set out to roam the world
Every time it rains
He would feel again the pain.

He was stealing horses by the age of ten
When he was fourteen he was living in a house of sin
Then he got hisself a shotgun
Ole Johnny killed his first man
He never had no fear
He was driven by the wind
Then the law got on his tail
Johnny swore he'd never go to jail

Don't take the long road to find your way back home
Listen to the thunder don't put your life on loan
Dark days will follow your dust into the sky
Posse on your trail the time has come to die

Stormy Sunday evening sky is turning black
Train whistle screaming as it tumbles off the track
Johnny's waiting in the shadows
A single shot rings out
Johnny screams in pain
Falling face down in the dirt
A single bullet through the heart

  • too much reverb

    nice playing though

  • Thanks Enjoiosaur.

I agree about the reverb. This was in our basement and we were just trying to learn the lyrics and everything. We were not to concerned with the sound quality.

This was posted by request and shows us developing. It is part of a larger project.

    Thanks for your comments.
