I think they really like each other (Kat seems to show it more than Lily), there's a chemistry between them. When you act like they did, you certainly feel something. They became really close, because they had to play love and sex scenes together and because, off screen, they get on ! But I also think Kat is sacarstic and she knows that their relationship is watched by their fans, so probably she plays with it. They just want to have fun :)
