You can tell he's not faking it. Unfortunately I could relate. I'm pretty much an alcoholic myself and I know that when people bring up my drinking while I'm drunk my only defense (in my drunk and stubborn mind) is to drink even more and say "If you want me to act like a fucking drunk I'll show you a fucking drunk!" When you add a camera to that it's probably even worse.
