@freandwhickquest You made your point about w not have the same roots & off course i am not saying we carry the same genetic origins , what i meant is that we are Arab & we do speaking the beloved Arabic language but we have arts, sciences, most of people speak many languages ,also arabic region full of many other religions besides the Islam .
any way plz don't get me wrong it is the Honor for me to say I am Arabian . but i do respect you'r view & i am a big fan of turkey though.

@monmonelgammal Yes, belly dancing is a part of the Arabic culture.
But the ''genetical origins'' of Turks and Arabs are different.
Two cultures may look similar because of sharing the same religion.

@freandwhickquest i think it's the same thing now in most Arabian countries ,, & the belly dance it is Arabian dance though !!!!!

• My dear friends... I LIVE IN TURKEY and i would like to give you some information about my country. Many people in Western countries think that Turkey is an Islamic country that you have to obey to rules of Islam. BUT this is not true Turkey is a SECULAR country with muslim majority. You can drink alcohol, you can wear bikinis in the beaches. You DO NOT HAVE TO wear headscarf or hijab. Turks are NOT ARABS. We don't speak Arabic language here. We speak Turkish.
