The band is awesome too. Wow, I just feel it. The singers, the music. Almost, but not quite, like when I saw Tina & Rick live back when the song first came out. This entire tribute to these Rick James & Teena Marie (I think I misspelled it on the 1st post) is awesome. I give this a 2 thumbs up! I wish I could have been at this tribute to experience this awesome energy. Someone should give this duo a contract fast.

@jaypee415 well Rick James & Teena Marie are black & white, so I find it remarkable that there are 2 other performers who can sing this song so wonderfully who are also a black man and a white woman on such short notice as a tribute to a black man and a white woman who made a beautiful song together. Not too many white ladies can pull off singing like Teena the "ivory queen of soul". So, how is this funny? Didn't you know that Teena Marie was white?
