  • weird, i wrote a thankyou message but it seemed to have disappeared. anyway

I want to thank you so much for taking the time to do a video for story ideas

Im a huge fan of whitestone crew and cast

and sincerely appreciate not only the short gems you create but also the inspiration you offer to all us aspiring film makers out there-your enthusiasm and encouragement is outstanding

  • Thanks, keep following and sharing us! Leave some comments on the website and keep in touch. We'll keep on doing what we're doing.

  • Does Whitestone prefer storyboards over shot lists, or do you use both?

  • I use both, they both have their specific uses. Our production manager prefers to see the shot list to organize the shoot, but I get totally confused and have to look at my storyboards in order to know where I am. Also, my 2nd AD chad make these kick ass little storyboard books for me to tote around.

  • brill stuff love it!

any plans on doing a protege video for conception of story ideas?

Theres bundles of videos on how to write a screenplay format but barely anything on story ideas

    I would love it! :)

  • We're working on it now per your request!

  • Amazing storyboards, amazing films- thanks for sharing. Would you ever publish a book of Whitestone's storyboards, similar to The Illustrated Film Script of MirrorMask?

  • Love it! Story-boarding is very interesting, and I love the comic set up depicting the process!

  • I've been learning how important storyboarding is a lot recently. Great vid! (even though I saw it last week haha).

  • very cool
