Hide n Seek with a "red beast" called WAP-4 in dense fog

Our Christmas Day railfanning begins with a neck-to neck- parallel action with Santragachhi(SRC) WAP-4#22376 in between Nalpur and Bauria stations of the busy Howrah-Kharagpur stretch of South Eastern Railways.There was dense fog that day from the crack of dawn and thus each and every traffic movement was delayed and slow-moving as well.We were on board a Panskura(PKU) bound EMU and "THE RED BEAST" was in charge of the delayed 12810 Up Howrah(HWH)-Mumbai(CSTM) Superfast Mail(via Nagpur) through the Up Reverse line

Note around 1min 45 sec, the train passes a freight in the opposite line.... the driver does not dim his headlights, unsure about local regulations, it is common courtesy amongst fellow drivers...... is this sense of courtesy and strong sense of brotherhood disappearing from IR LPs?

Hello my friend, I had kept myself isolated from youtube for nearly half a year now and was hoping to give up the addiction completely, till I chanced upon this clip. I don't think one can find a match for this................ no match at all.

At around 8 sec, the signal on the opposite line changes to Caution from Stop. Once upon a time I had dozed off for a little while, in the midst of a night, going down a 1 in 40 grade.. similar thing flashed in front of me. Still fresh in memory WHAT LUCK

@TrainManFromOZ Guess it's The Fog Effect, IR LP's still stick to those things, however possibly if you notice, its day time, and also the lights are on still only cuz of the FOG! ;-) Cheers !

@TrainManFromOZ Well guess its day break and since its foggy the visibility of approaching goods train was very less so no point in dimming of headlights.
