Blue Record announces the re-awakening of Savannahs rock giants BARONESS. The sister recording to 2007s Red Album, Blue Record is an instantly-classic album, with all the peaks and valleys, textures, and nuances that timeless records yield over repeated listens. Deep and dark; Blue Record overflows with gossamer melodies and striking, earnest riffs that have become the bands signature. Swollen and Halo, Jake Leg, War, Wisdom, and Rhyme, The Sweetest Curse, are just a few of the tracks that are both instant and unforgettable, making Blue Record the most poignant moment in the BARONESS canon to date.

  • Looks like a committee of art students got together and tried to make a cheap Tool video.

Doesn't quite do the song justice, but ah well.... \m/

  • I didn't think Baroness could possibly top the Red Album. I was WRONG

  • @hairyneil it's not like these guys are multi-platinum selling artists. On the buddget most metal bands have we are lucky to get any video at all.

  • 2:48 turned me off.

  • This video seems like they had a frined who was at filming school or something and gave him the job... lol

  • @hairyneil thats exactly what happened...

  • i like this

  • The blue album was a disappointment but it's growing on me

  • epic

  • @RoboSpleen You basically just said one of two things. The first is "I have never listened to their old albums and don't care to," and the second is "I only like things that are melodic and pretty and fit my safe concept of what music is supposed to be." Baroness has always been an amazing band, and as much as I love Red it just isn't as interesting, musically, as either of the two records that came before it.

  • cheesy video

  • @maddne0 naaah, Swollen and Halo tops this easily. But is too long to make a video to.
