  • I just grabbed one of my blue blankets and a belt. Sadly my family's badminton game was abruptly interrupted by a Sprint into the backyard :(.

  • @domhanda Like the Spartans, they would adapt with what they had. The man whose woman is a skilled spinner is sure to have better than a purse full of silver and gold.

  • I am not from Scotland but my family heritage is Welsh and Scottish. Seems like a lot of work to me! All that measuring, when you could just measure it by the length from your ankle to your knee! LOL

  • @MrJmacintyre actually the "traditional kilt" we see now a days is the mockery...this is the historically accurate way to make the kilt...i'll have to see the part two to know if it was put on correctly...only exception is that the measuring was guestamates instead of a yard stick

  • What a faff. If you are going to show people how to wear a kilt learn to do it first! Shockin I am sure thats false advertising!

  • I am fae Scotland and wear a philabeg weekly.

Christ man whit are ye doing wi the measuring stick?????????!!!!!! hehe

    Yer definetly naw fae Scotland.

  • Im sure a highlander would have a measuring ruler or tape with him.

he used his body to measure... knee to ankle etc.

  • @domhanda trust me the material is not light...if its a good kilt...its made out of wool so its heavy cloth

  • u can measure the apron from yir knee to yir anklewhen u kneel over it and as long as yir pleats are even it doenst quite matter how far apart the are from eachother as long as u have an even apron on the other side

  • @domhanda I could imagine that normally a highlander would do all actions inside... to protect the family jewels from the harsh weather conditions in Scotland...
