2 Fi Q 15's on AQ2200D amplifier

This is a short video of my 2 Fi Q 15's on an AQ2200D amp, the box is 7cuft ported @ 32Hz, subs and port facing in towards the cabin. The highs are IDCTX65CS comps in custom door pods off an Infinity Reference 475a.

how do you like that amplifier? Does it seem like it pushes those subs close to max? I am thinkin about buying one and just wanna know if you like it or not.

The subs are rated at 1000wRMS, although Fi subs tend to be a little underrated so each speaker is seeing about 1100wRMS of clean power... the amp is running at 1 ohm and I hardly EVER have a problem with it... it only gets hot when I'm running songs with constant bass notes for a minute or two at a time but that's understandable. Very kickass amp for the money dude.

This is like the exact set up i'm gonna run soon..Its gonna be in a blazer with an 8 cubic foot box same amp..How loud do you think this is..I am going for insanely insane..I have 2 12" type r's on an Alpine MRP-M1000 amp and it hits really hard and I can be heard from a very long ways away..I just want MORE I want to hardly be able to breathe when I'm sitting in this thing.

Well I usually ride out to the car show on Saturday nights and I rarely hear anyone that's louder than mine... with the exception of a few blazers/suburbans riding around with 4 12's or 4 15's... if you run these subs in your Blazer it should be pretty loud bro

I would NEVER buy a BTL that wasn't fully loaded. I'll look into impedance rise. Thanks.

@USMCfosho wire too .5ohm cause after rise you will probably see around 1-1.5ohm and that btl will want the power.. you should see 2k no problem.. but there are many variables thou, but around 2k+ after rise if u wire too .5 if your gettin 2 aq2200s then strap them to 1 or 2 ohm depends on what power u wanna give it.. i would recomend strapping to 2ohm cause strapping to 1 will be alot of power for a btl if its not fully loaded
