Watch two fishermen wrestle with a HUGE Black Tip Shark by the tail, and one get in the way. Filmed off the coast of Carolina Beach, Wilmington, NC. Sept. 14, 2008
@patriotRD f'ing stupid unamerican racist moron... WE WILL IF WE WANT!!!.. while you sit at home and do nothing.. we're out here having fun .. because guess what.. we CAN... we win.. you lose.. go cry to allah.. or ali baba.. or whatever.. we have more fishin to do!!!
@JordanDusold its a fish.. not a monster... if you get in salt water.. you are swimming within 15 feet of a shark!! OMG RUNNN!!!!!! ... its just a fish.. im more afraid of a bluefish than i am a shark.. those things are vicious!!!!
@MrAlexBillian kill it.. and eat it... it was tryin to eat.. and so am i.. thats why i put bait on my hook.. unfortunately.. i dont eat live shark.. so.. i have to kill it first.. if it werent illegal.. id hook activists like you and throw you off the pier too...
LOL .. first ... YEAH!!!! this is a black tip... love em.. .. second.. WOW!! this one is huge!! .. third.. because i like to put things that have no order chronologically... fourth.. i caught one about a foot shorter at kure beach.. yeah.. stay away from the dangerous end.. just cut the leader!!!! i found that out by getting hooked by my lower hook (went through my hand!!) .. ended up having to cut the lead to get the heck away from the dangerous end!!! but yeah.. love sharking.. great hobby!!!
This is definitely a blacktip shark (not to be confused with a blacktip REEFshark, the much smaller one that actually has big black tips on the fins and that lives in the Indian ocean and the South Pacific). The sharp nose gives it away. Bullsharks have a very blunt nose and is even stockier, nursesharks have a smaller mouth in comparison and lemon sharks have smaller fins and show a distinctive 'grin'.
That was definately not a nurse shark.May have been a bull shark ,but it did have black tips on the pectoral fins ,couldnt see the dorsal tip.Still was a damn good size ! the plier aproach was definately almost a disaster ending !! Thanks for sharing...

@steveisamadbeast I'm pretty sure that's a lemon shark. You can tell by looking at the eyes.
