classical music is a noble language, and even distinguished, but there is, in my opinion, so many beautiful things in the language of the fool and the non-conformist. Like in poetry, I love Charles Baudelaire or Victor Hugo, but I also love the surrealists like Queneau or the members of the Oulipo.

@benoit8761 Yes, i agree, music is good if it connects with people. But music doesn´t make you happy, it puts you in the state of mind of the author of the music. The best he writes his piece, (his `words´) the better you get in that emocional state. Thas what produces the joy of hearing a good piece. What i dont understand is in what exactly you dont agree with me? I mean, i think we are saying the same thing.

Music is a language, and like every language it has words(melody), needs Coherence(Harmony) and rithym. If one of this three components is eliminated or isn´t equilibrated, your music doesn't say anything. This is why some of the more modern music isn´t as good as classical music, for example. rap, hip hop or techno focus on rhythm but doesn't have a clear melody. I wish one day people learn this and good composers are reborn, but for now im going to stay for what Chopin has to say...
