Hmm...that didn't seem to be serious, or is it supposed to be? Because she was definitely better in the film and was singing correctly, and here she's just using her chest voice (instead of her head voice like she's supposed to). I'm not criticizing, just saying that this isn't exactly what I'm used to hearing from her.

As a matter of fact, some of the critics here have claimed that they CAN do better, and this is their justification for criticizing the singer. So why can't we them ask to hear their superior version? Indeed, asking to hear a superior version IS an argument, because it asks the critic to provide evidence of the claims made. People can hate Emmy Rossum if they choose, but if they're going to make a critique they need to back up their comments. That's what "argument" is all about.
