A superb band, Andy Gill one of Goloka's favourite guitarists. Funk, tension and loads more. At their best live at Hammersmith circa 'I Love A Man In Uniform' era.. and with Sara Lee on bass they were a visual and sonic delight. Respect.

This is proof positive that Gang of Four really are one of the most exciting groups I've ever seen or heard live.

FYI, Sara Lee the Bass player later joined the B-52s and worked with Robert Fripp and Barry Andrews on the League of Gentlemen project prior to joining GOF.

I'm not surprised Soulstylist because many people know who The Rapture, Bloc Party, Artic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand but do not know who is Gang Of Four.
