@TheRadiastral. Yes! That was a central cire belief behind how a Star Trek type society could exist. All the trillions of dollars now being spent on misery and war focused to advancing science and the common good. Nothing could stop us when all our Flags turn to white and we surrender to universal destiny!

Truth is, until we actually send a probe and study the system up-close, we know so little... There could be many rocky earth-sized planets around EVERY star in the sky yet it's so hard to detect the stars wobble since such planets weight is so insignificant compared to the star and/or they don't pass across the surface of their star in our line of view. Imagine USA devotes all the Iraq war budget to the task of building big enough telescope. Imagine other countries join. We could do ANYTHING.

@walmartian We tried that already with Jupiter, unfortunately it didn't ignite. There's a second detonator orbiting Saturn though.

it is our responsibility as humans to nuke these planets including jupiter as they are suns that didnt spark- if we created more stars and suns the rest of the universe would submit to our will and we could demand of them to do our manual labor
