SWEET TONE! How's the loudness scale? I'm exhaust hunting for my 89 LX, I'll probably do this combo with tail pipes.

i would say the loudness is 7.5/8 out of 10. i pulled the mac mufflers out and now have flowmaster 1 chambers, and those are LOUD

Really? Was there something you didn't like about the MAC Cat-backs? Or did you just want a different tone?

Well, I have had 3 different mustangs, all w/ MAC exhaust. I like mac but was personally tired of hearing it. Also a buddy had a 95 cobra w/ the 1 chambers that sounded good, so I have always wanted them

Love the sound of this setup...I just ordered BBK longtubes, BBK offroad H, and a mac catback, can't wait to hear what it sounds like when I install it. What do you guys think of H pipes vs. X with macs? Is there really much of a difference??

great sound mac flowpaths have a good sound when cobined with an x pipe,i have macs on my 91 foxbody love em like them alot more than flowcrappers

I have a MAC Cat Back now, with a mac-h, but the H leaks all over (just simply crappy MAC fitment) so I'll be switching to a BBK or Bassani O/R X next year. :)

Haha, sounds cool. I can understand getting bored of the same tone on every car. That's pretty cool though! I've decided to go MAC H, just because i like that tone a bit better.
