Sorry but this is NOT OPERA like it should be! its absolutelly UNAUTHENTIC... although played on period instruments. These stageing and these acting is so horrible! I still prefer Ponnelles Version with Araiza and von Stade!

I don't care much also for the modern setting, I prefer the old fashioned one or a more tastefully modern production.

I don't care for Vivica's Angelina, but the others are really wonderful in their respective roles. Especially Ildebrando D'Arcangelo as Alidoro, although it would have been wonderful to see him as Dandini.
