Freshwater anglers all across the state look forward to the annual spring run of White Bass. When the conditions are right, the fishing is easy. When the conditions aren't right, the anglers just have to work a little bit harder. Catch up with some white bass anglers at Colorado Bend State Park, just below the Inks Lake dam, and on the Sabine River. See our PBS show schedule on our web site www.tpwd.state.tx.us/tv

  • Great video. Always look forward to the White Bass run. You can catch 'em just about anywhere close to where you live (in Texas) but it seems more fun to travel somewhere and catch them in different settings. The Sabine sometimes, the Hill Country, or maybe Bedias Creek. It's about that time.

  • @dddd111159 You may have to look hard for white bass this year. I hear that the Colorado River at Colorado Bend State Park is really, really low. No water in the Pedernales River where the white bass usually run for sure. Try the Sabine.
