It's the concept of Art, which is just arranging elements (In this case the Branch) Into a way that, More captivates the seances. (In this case, Sight) Not only did she make the branch less well, ugly, by taking it from the ground, but she also allowed it to catch peoples attention. Anyone who walks by that tree, is going to look up, and see that branch. -And think "Huh, that's neat" -It's a lot more catching to the eye than if a branch is just rotting on the ground.
