  • Maria Montessori should be known as the Mother of Cognitive Sciences. She was ahead of EVERYONE in understanding how the brain worked during development, and throughout the lifespan.

  • Really interesting I hadn't heard of Critical Periods during adolescents before

  • Maria Montessori understood this through observation of children early in the last century.
