Nice raw sound, pure rock without any fluff or big record company interference. Definately the major influence on punk rock. It reminds me of the local 60s garage bands from Levittown, Long Island, NY. Ooops, I almost forgot, that what it is.

superb gut wrenching genius of the very first order . . .

I love how significantly more R&B this version sounds.

Very good version, but IMHO the best is the so-called "guitar amp" bootleg. You can find it on the Interwebs. In that version you can barely hear the vocals and organ, pretty much all you can hear is the drums and guitar. Brilliant rock and roll guitar work awash in waves of warm noise. Strong, assured, steady, and powerful, but never preening or overbearing. Nothing short of amazing. Check it out!

Great version of this song. The guitars are wild.

Sounds like a sick machine making cries for help as she is agonising in violent steam breathes with piece of metal bein' thrown on walls
