truefreedom2011 is an agent provocateur, don't listen to him, it's people like these that throw stuff into the mixture to disrupt movements, AIM has done great things for the indian community, don't believe what everyone writes online, and don't get mad at him, leave him alone, he is provoking responses, and he is spamming this bored to try and derail legitimate movements like AIM

I don't know John Truderll but I have met him on a couple occasions. Once was in San Francisco and the other was at the 25th Anniversary of the Wounded Knee Take over....I came away with the impression that John was a truthful person....

@PhilosopherSeed "Custer defendants" were those AIM & others being tried for participation at Wounded Knee at the Custer, N.D. (or was it S.D. I'm not sure) Court House. A riot broke out, perhaps caused by the Police. Plenty of Google information. Read "In the Spirit of Crazy Horse" that the FBI tried and almost succeeded in repressing!

@529dsk yes, I agree. Red Crow was always there for me. Sometimes showing up out of the clear blue. Last time we spoke he said he was going to be with his ancestors and he did. Always in my heart. my respect to John Trudell for courage to carry and speak the truth.

Who?

Leonard Peltier is guilty and will never see parole. He's only 1/4 Indian and is the main reason Annie Mae Aquash was murdered because she knew the truth. He even interrogated Annie Mae by putting a gun in her mouth because the AIM leadership thought she was an FBI informant, well she wasn't. AIM stands for American Indian Mafia and are responsible for the murder of many on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Wake up people. Looking Back Woman Suzanne Dupree tells it like it is.

Guess it depends on who you choose to believe, doesn't it? I don't know the person you mention, but I stand by the character of John Trudell. People with integrity can often disagree,
