@CallMeAMuslim Brother, I completely agree by lowering our gaze towards women is helps a lot from many sins and I experienced that. However, I will be disagree if you say the punishment for drinking alcohol and lying to people will be the same even though they both are sins. As you are a Muslim too you know very well between Haram vs Makruh same as Major sin vs minor sin or Kabira vs Saghira. Just saying, Allah was NOT shy to mention masturbation as a HARAM in Holy Quran.

@touahmed I agree with some parts of your arguement, but doesnt it say in the Qur'an to ''lower your gaze'' and if the scholar's were as hard as you say they are. they would've just told us to carry on masturbating, but they arent saying this out of their pleasure, their saying it to save the ummah from the hell-fire. really, its you who has to make the decision and also mankind only wants to hear what they want to hear, because they dont want to give this evil act up.
