  • I once heard a concert where he played the transcribed Méditation from Vierne (search for vierne plays vierne to hear the original improvisation). He played it with all 13 8' fonds and with Voix céleste and Flûte harmonique in the end, it was so wonderful!

  • Thanks for posting these videos of the Vierzhenheiligen organ. I've been curious to see how successful Rieger has been in his attempt to encompass both North German Baroque and French Symphonic tonal ideals in a single instrument. If you have any recordings of this instrument in the core French romantic literature I would love to hear them. I especially want to hear the fonds 8' and full organ. Thanks and good luck in your studies.
