The special fact on a CX or a DS/ID is the hydropneumatic suspension : If the driver is tough enough he gets the car around any curve with all four wheels on the street . Tractive effort at all four wheels at times when nobody thought about Anti blockage System : My Uncle used his daily driven DS 2.3 Pallas as a rallye car at weekends in the 1970ies with a lot of success.

I dont hear that mv6.. i had a mv6.. and it was quik! but on the downside.. its heavy!

@turboneno NEVER! NO facelift ( built before 2000 can not be a 3.2 ) & runs like a dead duck. Does not even sound like a v6!!!

the 3.0 v6 would eat that crappy franceman like a piece of cheese. "citroen" - what does that mean?

In fact Opel Omega like most other ordinary cars have no chance against the Citroen CX with its advanced DIRAVI power steering and absolutely brilliant road hold especially in fast driving on curvy and bad roads with potholes etc. This is of course thanks to Citroens phenomenal gashydraulic system which affects both the suspension and the very fast and accurate steering. By the way, most people who dislikes Citroen CX, and XM have never been driving one..

J'ai adoré mon XM 2.5 turbo diesel 326,000 miles sans problem sauf l'entretien regulière et j'ai du la laissé en Angleterre quand je me suis demenagé en Suisse. :-(

Tellement confortable puissant et economique.

J'avoue que malgré ses temeperements, par fois difficile, citroen une reve a conduire.
