This poem is so beautiful, and ironic in that it is a very Un-Miltonesque abandonment of meter and/or consistent rhyme, but it is so tender that all faults (if there are any) are more than compensated. I really enjoy your reading.

Thank you very, very much, Sir, for sharing this most beautiful of poems with us. Milton is, along with Dante, my favourite poet, and your excellent reading gives me more than my heart and soul can express. I need Milton for that.

Thank you for such a beautiful reading. I have just completed a comprehensive seminar on the works of John Milton, and hearing your take on such a timeless text was truly enjoyable. Cheers.

Wow, this is a gorgeous reading of this extraordinary poem! I thank you for recording this and sharing it. "Lycidas" is my favorite lyric poem, and it is a pleasure to hear it read so well. It is especially nice in this year, the 400th anniversary of the great Milton's birth.

Thank you. Milton is so generally sublime, even at his most theological, it's hard to resist his wonderful flow.
