This scene follows the 1st Nuclear man fight and after the Nuclear man nail scratch causes Supe to get sick and then bad superman starts to grow within. So here is the scene where in the original Superman 4, Superman talks to his mother and she does the Donner cut dialogue that was never released until now, i really dont like the Mother/Son relationship for Superman just because it defeats the purpose of the comics but thas just me. So in my Superman 3/4 Hybrid Cut most of the mother scenes i remixed the audio the best i could with Jor-els voice from Superman 1 with the dialogue i saw fit, except for the scene in Superman 4 in which Superman goes to the Fortress of Solitude when hes grieved with the crisis and his mother tells him that the elders are all thats left, i felt it was perfect to following my Superman 2 fan cut which was more Donner-esque with the good Lester scenes added in.

I used Jor-el's voice more as a memory rather then a direct interaction, i used it more as a reassurance and remembrance so that the battle of evil within Superman can cause the good to prevail.

  • this is a powerful scene by chris reeve when he runs off and flies amazing.

  • I wouldve slapped the shit outta the kid for being so damn annoying.

  • the scene with the bar should have been deleted..

  • why does he look old at the begining?? it called my attention cause that how he looked at the and in his personal life

  • "For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."

    --Christopher Reeve (1952–2004)

"Except for fools and madmen, everyone knows that nuclear war would he an unprecedented Human catastrophe."

    --Carl Sagan

... fools, madmen and snide, sarcastic fans who've WASTED the past 25 years psychotically obsessing over the TRIVIAL flaws of a movie that only wanted to promote world peace.

  • wtf? that's not Superman 3

  • "For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."

    --Christopher Reeve, 1987

This noble movie's effort to promote nuclear abolition is FAR, repeat, FAR more important than whether some colossally SPOiLED fanboy was enraptured by a cinematic experience. Its message of PEACE is far more important than any penchant for being snide or turning one's nose up.

  • C'est superman 4 ça, pas le 3e

  • Ugh...that annoying little twerp Ricky keeps his prominent role here.

    Otherwise, good.

  • @TIPTON340
