In the first part of the series titled "understanding the trinity" I talked about what the doctrine of the trinity entails. In this video I will explore the trinity a little further and explore the question: Why MUST there be a mediator for mankind? And If God is eternally existent without a cause and exist necessarily (that is not needing anything) then why did He create anything at all?

Deist would all agree that God exists and created the physical universe, but does not interfere with it. He is the watchmaker, but left it clock running, so to speak and mankind is on it's own.

Theist would all agree that God is more involved in his creation. C.S Lewis described theism,

"Like a man making a picture or composing a tune. A painter is not a picture, and he does not die if his picture is destroyed. You may say, 'He put a lot of himself into it,' but you only mean that all it's beauty and interest has come out of his head. His skill is not the picture in the same way that it is in his head, or even in his hands."

  • Is JESUS GOD? Lets see WHAT THE BIBLE has to say; (God Jhn 1:1; Mat 1:23; Isa 40:3) (Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever Hbr 1:8) (The Mighty God Isa 9:6) (The Everlasting God Isa 40:28) (The True God 1Jo 5:20) (My Lord and my God Jhn 20:28) (God my Saviour Luk 1:47) (Over all, God blessed for ever.Amen Rom 9:5) (God manifest in the flesh 1Ti 3:16) (Our God and Savior 2Pe 1:1) (The great God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ Tts 2:13) (Emanuel, God with us Mat 1:23)
  • JESUS is NOT Michael/ WAKE UP!

    Dan 10:13

    Notice: The three references to Michael in Daniel are: "one of the chief princes," "your prince," and "the great prince." Christ is never referred to, as one of the chief princes, your prince or the great prince in the Bible. Jesus is called, "Prince of peace," — Isa. 9:6, and "Prince and Savior" — Acts 5:31. As one can see, the titles of Michael and Jesus are not the same.

  • jesus is god jesus is not god bla bla !!!!

    that's not the question

  • I also note Matt 28:19 does not say either "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Lord Jesus" or "in the name of God" or even "in the name of the Lord" or "in the name of the Holy Trinity" (obviously) but "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" and not "in the names of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"; in the name of the Everlasting Father and of the Prince of Peace and of the Wonderful Counsellor, as it were.

  • @urbanguru I'm not sure I do see what you mean. See Matt 6:9 "Pray then like this: Our Father who art in heaven"; Acts 7 «And as they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."» Praying to Jesus, as Stephen did, makes sense because "he always lives to make intercession for" his Church, as does the Holy Spirit: Romans 8 "the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God" God doesn't deny communication with the Spirit (Philip) or angels (Mary & Gabriel).

  • @nepistepa Agree mostly with what you are saying bro. Therefore it is important that we pray and aim our intent at the Infinite God and not the finite "parts" if you understand what I mean :).

  • @urbanguru Don't scientists talk about the Sun in terms of gases and photons and neutrinos and so on? Yet all are talking about one thing, the Sun. Following your logic, looking up into the sky gives you a false picture of the Sun. Yet the Sun is both round and bright. While our understanding of God can only ever be partial, Jesus (however small!) shows us important aspects of God, who is bright with holiness and rounded with love and compassion.

  • @urbanguru I guess that would explain whey God the Son was limitless! Look at what he did and continues to do!

  • Why then call it "god the father" and "god the son" if it's the same thing? Christians always call them by different names yet they say it's the same thing? Three personalities?Three parts?Don't attribute such superficial things to Allmighty God? God is not contained to "parts", "personalities" and "pictures". God being man? This doesn't represent his might and size (in everything). God in human form... that picture doesn't show his size because He is limitless! It paints a false picture of God!

  • There are Alot more , but my point is;

    Deut. 18:22, "If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him."

  • Watchtower False Profhecies;1918 "Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection," (Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p. 89).

  • Watchtower False Prophecies;"The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year," (Watchtower, Jan. 1, 1925, p. 3).
