You shall not covet your neighbor's house, you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that is your neighbor's.
(Exo 20:17)

Take heed that you give not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise you have no reward of your Father who is in heaven. Therefore when you give your alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when you give alms, let not your left hand know what your right hand does: That your alms may be in secret: and your Father who sees in secret himself shall reward you openly. And when you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly. But when you pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not therefore like them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, before you ask him.
(Mat 6:1-8)

Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not according to their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost places at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But you be not called Rabbi: for one is your Teacher, even Christ; and all you are brothers. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, who is in heaven. Neither be you called masters: for one is your Teacher, even Christ.
(Mat 23:1-10)

  • Jesus told the woman to stop sinning.

  • Sin is a big problem and that is why Jesus died for it.

    Thank you ECX0x100h.

You can't speak enough of the blood as the blood is what covers a multitude of sin. Jesus washed me white as snow but it cost Him and I am eternally grateful.

  • I can see my fellow humans. I can speak with them. I can give to them and, in return, if this person is not a jerk, I get back. These statements are no longer true if you replace "humans" with "God".

  • the age of reason will come sooner or later and fortunately this fairytale will be unravelled and its followers commited for the outdated insanity they preach even today. christians ,religious people in general, you are mindfucked and too simple to realize it. leave this world peacefully for the betterment of mankind.

  • @CFries87 --- He did not say "have a problem with" he said "IN BONDAGE TO"-- There is a huge difference!

Bondage-slavery-a prisoner of anger vs. the holy spirit revealing to us the pride which is at the root of our anger- as we cry out to God to forgive us and help heal us and make us more like Jesus. And each time we get angry there is more of God pruning us- disciplining us- and we become less "sorry" for what we are doing and become more thankful for what GOD is doing!

Pro 9:8 Do not reprove a mocker or he will hate you; reprove a wise person and he will love you.

A wise person likes when people are pointing out his sin, so that he can fight it :)

  • @CFries87 - I believe you read into this the wrong way... having an anger problem is "bondage." He didn't say simply getting angry or you could not get angry. When anger is a problem it has the ability to grow into rage, violence, et cetera. I hope this helps. Peace.
