@linuxrocksrulers you forgot stuff like your router/firewall at home. Sharing Internet with MS Windows, Apple OSX and different Linux distors.

@urah2525 The latest version of Linux is 3.1. There are no Linux 11.10 yet.

@drolandcorp you can run X11 on MS Windows etc.
So, X11 is a protocoll to distribute graphics between a client and server (the server being the one you look at and type on and the client is the program generating the graphics, usually running on a server).
So, X11 has nothing to do with operating systems.

@drolandcorp no, X11 is not made for Linux, but some programmers have made desktop environments for Linux that uses Xorg, as well as OSX programmers made it for OSX.

also funny, MacOS uses the X11 display protocol, so i guess that means Macs are linux too.

Impossible to watch videos on Youtube without use Linux, because Youtube servers are Linux too :-)
