#003 Super Preview.MOV

Quick preview of new build. Based on 5F4 Super, with some refrinements.

This one will feature a one tube reverb circuit based on a design br Eric Barbour using a 6BM8 - pentode/hi-mu triode in a 9 pin format. the pentode is strapped as a triode and capacitor coupled to the reverb tank, ala Ampeg ReverbRocket. and the triode half is the recovery tube. As it is , it doesn't get very "Surfy", but the person I'm building it for likes real subtle reverb, and for that it's perfect. Very quiet and has a clean long decay that's very nice for Jazzy playing

I'm real pleased by what I hear so far.
