Shame, Shame, Shame on the Travel channel....Instead of airing Adventure Bound....They're airing crap like food wars .... best places to pig out ....And Man vs food.....And horseshit like that....No good...i regret so much not recording all the episodes of Adventure Bound back in the mid 90s when they were airing them on T.V.

Speaking of movies ... Alby is still alive and kicking. Hopefully, finally, he will get the respect he deserves as a pioneer in the documentary business, and as a living legend in his own time!

Although they're giving publicity to his biography (which is good) it seems like Today Tonight is trying to attach some spin here. It seems that Alby should somehow be "repentant" for re-enacting some of the scenes in his movies. Our cultural masters never really forgave him for going over their heads and succeeding in spite of them.

I'd be amazed if there's anyone out there who's had anything to do with either Alby Mangels or his movies who knows him as anything other than a legend.
