Lyrics:

Motives changing
Day to day
The fire increases
Masks decay
I look at the river
White foam floats down
The body's poisoned
Got to sit tight

The wait
The wait
The wait
The wait

After awakening
The silence grows
The screams subside
Distortion shows
Mutant thoughts
Of bad mouthed news
Just another birth
Of distorted views

  • What are they waiting for?

  • omfg jizzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!

  • Killing Joke

  • When I first heard Killing jokes version of this it sounds like raw captured emotion, and punk like angst. I first heard Metallica's version when I was 16, I had just purchased garage inc. To me it sounds like the depths of hell. Between the reverb ,and James distorted vocals, not to mention that simple half step interval that's repeated by the rythm guitar, it really does sound like these guys are playing on a barge over a lake of fire. I'm 27 now, and I feel the same way.

  • Is There A Difference Between $5.98EP and Garage Inc.?

  • @sithlord772 it was Killing Joke who originally wrote it

  • @barfdog1999 ya it was diffrent... but NOT bad at all

  • old school metallica kicks f ing ass but i cant stand anything after black

  • @sithlord772 Metallica didn't write anything on this album, but they did a hell of a job on covering them ;)

  • @VvAnarchangelvV That is a totally different set of circumstances, you moron! Napster was letting anyone who wanted to steal Metallica's music. Not only Metallica, either. They just had the balls to say no. A cover is not theft. Let's hope you never write or paint (not much chance, huh?) something someone else considers intellectual property and it gets stolen by hundreds of thousands of "fans". Your line about copyright LAW just proves that you don't know what you are talking about.
