  • GOD-DAMN those advertisements are annoying.

Downrated because of them, regardless of how well the video explains the process.

  • man! i enjoyed this professional soldering techniques video like a gourmet enjoys a dish of exquisite cuisine !!!!

  • dam i think i am gonna buy a set of dvds off this man Nojoke.. freaking amzing

  • this video's been made a fail thanks to the adverts!

  • damp sponges are a poor way to clean tips. use dry brass shavings.

it's good to shake off the excess solder after tinning the tip, so it is still a little wet and will connect and conduct better when you use it.

also, oxidation is not the stuff that forms on the iron tip... that is some form of oxide .. or rust .. oxidation is the process that creates it.

nasa have some nifty soldering lessons online too.

You either add flux from the core of the solder or with an external applicator. It is likely that you will use solder with a flux core.

  • A good video, but the advertisements are too intrusive. Smaller banners would have been just as effective and not annoy users as much.

  • yay I'm going to go solder now
