I prefer this to the more volatile performances common to HG and CLF. It feels more stable and controlled, and despite appearances I wouldn't call it flimsy. It feels more like a Lau Gar performance and thus closer to home.

No disrespect to Fu jow Pai. Like you stated he learn this form from a Hung gar lineage and as such this form should be play accordingly. Please take a look at lam chun fai playing the set so that you see what I am talking about
