Jingle Stars "Character Study"

The Office meets Spinal Tap - Jingle Stars "Character Study": Is a journey into the microcosm that our commercial Jingle Stars inhabit; we take a look into one of the most powerful jingle houses in the world and the stars that make it shine. This short comedy was produced to introduce the characters and the world in which our Original "Moc-ality" (Mocumentary/Reality) Comedy Series is based. Jingle Stars -- "The Series" is currently in development.

In "Character Study" the narrative is driven by sit down interviews with our main characters and live action footage inter-cut to illustrate their egomaniacal world. "Character Study" was intentionally shot in this simple Mocumentary style for a few reasons. One was to allow us the ability to thoroughly introduce and explore our characters and what goes through their minds. The other was Budget! We sometimes think of "Character Study" as 'Behind the Music' meets "Spinal Tap".

Jingle Stars "The Series" is set in a world famous creative agency, I.M.A. Creative in NYC. Our main protagonists are a hot jingle writing team, Indie Oms and Merritt VanHoff, known collectively as the 'Jingle Stars'. They have paid their jingly dues and have risen up the ranks to achieve jingle stardom.

We shine a light on the whimsical nature of the creative process to find that ultimately it's ego, money & power that make the jingle world go round.
