  • how long did u rest in between each lift?

  • @Insanitiii455

When training for a meet, I rest about 2 mins depending on the % of my 1rm. Even when going for max never more than 5 min. But, general training is 30 seconds for single joint movements and 1 min for compound lifts (squats, dips, deads, rows, push press).

  • Wow, that's amazing! However, I often wonder why a lot of men concentrate all their time on the bench press? Just an observation. I stopped bench pressing a year ago when I noted that having a super strong chest didn't do much for me. Now I spend all my time doing weighted sit-ups, and weighted chin-ups, and find that I can transfer these strength gains to other areas of my life.

i am not a big fan of the bench press overall as an exercise. BUT, if you enter a bench press contest you really don't have any options other than to train for that specific exercise. it would be difficult to enter a bench press contest and expect to improve on that specific lift doing weighted sit up and weighted pull ups.

  • whats the song?

song is ITS ALIVE and Stranglehold mashup by TechN9ne and Ted Nugent

  • @BLbenz They're called slingshots powerlifters use them to keep their elbows tucked and push the weight more effectively. Some use it as a preventative measure from causing and injury to the the shoulder joint.

  • what muscles does this work out ?

  • @BLbenz Its calld a "slingshot" it helps keep you tight and also give you a lil boost.. its good for when you get to the HEAVY weights so you don't fuc your shoulders up

  • Nice Video Bro keep it up.

  • My back hurts just from watching that. Holy CRAP!

  • deadlift was more impressive than the bench press...thats boss

  • Well done. Very impressive. Check my videos for the bench press competitions we had at our gym. At 85kg body weight we had a guy benching over 220kg!
