  • @ssrider7 u are nothing

  • @syderpaintballer YEA HOHO but that 350 hae same power and less weight than 450.u smartass...hes nothing and he will stay that.

  • @vtjumpr he's beaten people this season on a 350cc though. But I would rather see him racing a 450cc in motocross and a 350cc in supercross

  • @TheKatoom I agree, that theory makes sense and in the amateur races it may even work but in the Pro rankings one needs every bit of hp AND torque to finish strong. The best of the best are building these motor packages and 4 of the 5 manufactures are using 450cc for 1 reason, it works. I'm not an Alessi or KTM hate'r, I just think that its not working out for the 800 team. Cheers!

  • @TheKatoom I agree, that theory makes perfect sense and in the amateur races it may work, but in the Pro rankings its quite obvious that one needs every bit of HP AND torque to finish strong. For right now, the best of the best are designing these motor packages and 4 of the 5 manufactures are 450cc for a reason....it works. I'm not a Alessi or KTM hater, I just don't think giving up 100cc for weight is a good option and the results are showing. Cheers!

  • @vtjumpr You would have a point if motocross was about peak HP - but it's not. There comes a point that you're not putting all that power down, you're just making wheelspin. Combine that, with a lighter weight, and lower gyroscopic effect due to the smaller piston, and you effectively have a bike that's easier to ride, just as fast, for longer.

  • @syderpaintballer Sure he's fast but not smart, there's a reason no one else is running a 100cc less...its stupid! Its like bringing a knife to a gun fight!

  • @vtjumpr well he's running 100cc's less then everybody else and still beating people. lets see any other try that.

  • Alessi's problem is he is riding a bike that isn't on the same level as a 450. I don't know what they (KTM) were thinking, how is a 350cc bike to hang with a 450cc in motocross. Supercross would be the place to ride it but Motocross has lots of big up hills, long straights just to much where a 450 has the advantage. You'll notice too that Alessi isn't getting hole shots anymore, again 350 VS 450...
