My first impressions of the XioSynth25. This video will touch upon the features and specs for this very nice.., and extremely under-rated little synth. A video link to another Tuber's video showing the Xio's presets will also be included

  • Does the xiosynth 49 have a vocorder??

  • @jasonkend Neither the 25 or 49 have a vocoder.

  • if this synth had midi in, this synth would be legendary!!!!!!!!!!!!,

  • @StuMac303 I completely agree!

  • can u create the patch on the computer and put it on the synth?

  • @FireatWill35 Not to my knowledge. I've yet to see a Software Editor released for this synth. There is an archiving program for it.., and that's probably it.

  • plese tell me what synth is beter this one or x-station?

  • sounds good after hearing that bit at the end I want one

  • thx for the review.

xiosynth has no midi in? huh?

can you control the synth from a computer sequencer through usb?

  • good review mate

  • you can add a vocoder right o.O?

  • one thing on the alesis that i want is a rhythm sequencer. I understand this keyboard does not have that, but can access rhythm patterns from a driver?

  • Hey I can get an X-station for really cheap and the Xiosynth videos I watch are a lot more amusing than the X-station vids and I'm kind of intimidated by the amount of knobs on the X-station as I'm searching for my first synth. Should I go with the X-station or buy a xiosynth 49 for 400?

  • @StuMac303: yeah that's true. nonetheless you can still get midi in via usb. but you need pc for that :(

  • this can be controlled by another ketboard. im using the midi from my prokeys 88 and routing the midi to the xio in ableton. dont really fancy the keys on the actual unit - their tiny and not much room to move up and down with two octaves. ive seen lots of comments where people are saying it cant be controlled by another keyboard - it can.
