  • The front and rear brushes are for bare floors. You press a button to retract them when it's used on carpet.

  • why the aggression ???

yes, was bold and daring dyske to criticize the work of engineers that have developed in the unit tests for the purpose of making it effective and competitive in an increasingly aggressive market, and even more so in a company that has decades in the business

but show him the point and suggest read the owner manual, but please let´s make this a peaceful and fraternal planet...

  • WTF is wrong with this guys!

  • @dyske HAHAHAHAHA this is one of the funniest videos on Youtube, and for all the wrong reasons. When's the full comedy show with other 'badly engineered products' sketches due out?! Maybe you could smash a TV with a hammer because it's too bright and noisy when you're trying to go to sleep? Or perhaps cover your stereo speakers in glue & cotton wool every time a song you don't like comes on the radio?

  • @TheLargo55 Fair point, but actually if you watch any of their own advertising commercials (there's one on their own website under the vacuums sections), it's pronounced 'Mee-Luh'. Pretty weird if Markus Miele pronounces it differently lol. I always thought it was Mee-lay too.

  • All of this engineering criticism coming from someone who eats rice with a couple of sticks. Haven't you ever heard of a friggin' fork or a spoon where you can scoop up more than one grain at a time? Long Duck Dong.

  • I'm not going to read all the comment but sure someone has told you already there is a special attachment for hard floors and it works (like everything else Miele) very well.

PS - Sometimes when the fluff collects on the hard floor brush, I use the small turbobrush to clean it off.

  • @MrBbbb787 Oh so you're British and you own a Miele? So you must know everything and pronounce everything correctly. Why don't you go onto the Miele Youtube channel and watch how Markus Miele pronounces it. It's pronounced MEE LAY - but I guess in your world he doesn't know how to say his own last name...

  • Im British and i own a Miele and you pronounce it Mee-la not mee-ell. I really think that Americans are stupid when it comes to this sort of thing. you see that big button at the back of the cleaner head? You push that and the brushes re-treat. And that it is commonplace for vacuum cleaner heads to have there bristles on the back and the front it prevents scratches on delicate hard floors.

I hope next time you purchase a product that you read the instructions carefully.
