A Fisher and Paykel smartdrive washing machine 'converted' to a generator. Those of you who understand generators/motors should see the potential immediately. These are normally referred to as brushless DC motors even though they generate 3 phase AC

  • How much power and torque is rated for? Any idea? Volts, Amps and Watts if you prefer. Thanks

  • @marcheseDS they are good for about 1500 watts, voltage increases with speed while current remains constant. The highest voltage I have achieved is just over 700 volts at 2 amps, between one phase and neutral. I didn't want to spin it any faster due to the instinct of self preservation.

  • felicidades,,, se que en poco tiempo se va a desarrollar a gran escala este tipo de energia,,,, a pesar de las empresas peroleras que bloquean estas investigaciones

  • @arqmarioesqueda Don't think the oil companies could block this even if they wanted to, as these machines are available pretty much anywhere. Go to your local tip and look for a fisher and paykel washer or a whirlpool cabriolet. No free energy here, just a plain old mechanical to electrical energy converter

  • WOW it puts out a lot of power just by simply rotating it by hand. You should make a wind turbine of one.

  • I am planning on it, but first I must win the lottery so I don't have to waste my days at work (sighs loudly). By the way thanks for subscribing
