@Czaendermajer No problem :) its not really remebered that much because not much was gained of the conflict and the battle of the bulge happened straight after it.
I only started to learn the details of it when i read the book citizen soldiers by stephen ambrose

@Czaendermajer ...this was the last greatest offensive by the german army on the western front...Adolf hitler had a ton of men taken from the eastern front to take part in the attack
