  • Hi chenshi56, after I just arrived in the town at the foot of Wudang Mt (by train) one of the teachers from the wushu school helped me to buy the ticket back to Wuhan and he wrote his contact number on the map because people in the minibus were waiting for him... later I lost the map and his telephone number... he was in his late 20ies... cont...

  • Incredibly beautiful ! I wish I could live there and train , though I doubt they would allow me . Thanks for posting !

  • You are welcome! I'm glad you like it... I visited Mt Wudang in May of 2007 and during my one week stay I have met several western students, looking for teacher/school on the mountain, I also saw a bunch of them practicing under Chinese masters' guidance down in the city... if you have 2-3 months of your free time and 2-3 thousand in cash, I'm sure they will be happy to train you... I may even have a contact telephone number, if you are interested send me a message... regards, ylw

  • yilongwei- thanks.I would like to go to Wudang Shan to take a closer look at the number of kungfu/taichi training temples/schools there. But not sure which one suits me most.Is there a website I can visit to gather more information and travel/training details.I am 60yrs old but stil very fit and healthy as I do taichi (yang& chen styles for a number of years already.).Would like to fulfil my dreams of at least acquire a Wudang taichi in quan and sword.I won't be learning kungfu but only taichi .
