In order to raise funds toward assisting those suffering after the earthquake in Haiti, I have uploaded a video I created in 2001 of a service project I participated in so you can see the people of Haiti first hand. In this first part (of three), you will meet the other participants of the trip and see how the people in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere lived prior to the most recent disaster. Even before the earthquake, they were in dire need of resources and now they have nothing. Please find a reputable charity to donate to or use your phone and Text "HAITI" to "90999" and a donation of $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts, charged to your cell phone bill.
