Short Take-off. HoverTaxi

I've learned that you can rotate as soon as your rolling. This CH801 will NOT stall if at full power, it just climbs. Not bad for a 4 place aircraft with 7 hours of fuel on board.

Hi, nice plane, nice video...

Any info about your performance with the turbo engine? Some feedback in comparison to the IO-360? Is that the TIO-360? Any troubles in 2 years?

40+ winds would be a great video if I thought I could do it safely. I rotate at about 25mph and climb out at 35mph IAS, with a 40mph wind I think I could fly it backwards. I've done it up high with a 45 knot headwind but never on takeoff or landing. I've got a turbo on this plane since this video and it does much better now. I still would like to see what it would do down at sea level on a cool day, I've haven't been down to sea level yet,4500ft in hot desert makes for much longer ground rolls

yeah just about... i wanna see what will happen with 40+ winds.. oh wait.. the plane will be parks and still flyaway.. there is no place for that plane in the future.. since global warming n sh1t >> the winds getting stronger and stronger.. wow that plane gonna be like a kite.
