Protest Against Tommy Thomas, Harris County, TX Sheriff, 4

Just before the protesters were to march to the sheriff's office, the mounted cop persists in getting his horse close to the protesters, so close that the horse reaches its nose out to smell one of the protesters. Also, note how the other two horses panic at the sound of a passing train's whistle. Perhaps horses weren't the safest way to monitor the protesters. Finally, the protesters march to the sheriff's office.

Legal assembly, very legitimate form of showing dissatisfaction with elected officials. Sheriff Thomas was a bit camera shy, but cared about all citizens in Harris County. He promoted Blacks, and females like no other. Hispanics still traditionally lag in L.E. leadership, County and Countrywide. HCSO, a great agency overall. And the Harris County Commissioners are excellent also...
