@pauljs75 Wacom uses inductive coupling while the original Theremin was based on capacitive effects. But yes there is some similarity. Well played!

Interestingly enough, the tablet actually uses a similar technology to that originally developed by Theremin himself. The stylus is actually a form of low power transponder.
So this usage seems fitting. :)
And yes they are the best tablet on the market. (BTW, does anyone know when Wacom's patents will run out? I'd like to see some prices go down. But for now, I ended up buying used. And even those aren't cheap.)

thanks, strip is just a paper for visual guidance of keyboard image. sound comes from my simple PureData patch, reading pen tip position and pressure corresponding to pitch and volume.
